1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and TASTES APP LIMITED ("Tastes", "we", "us"). They apply to your use of the Tastes mobile app, the tastesapp.com website, and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Tastes.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of these Terms.

2. Beta status

Tastes is currently in early access / beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" — we don't guarantee availability, uptime, or performance during this phase.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Tastes.
• You agree to provide accurate account information — including your name, phone number, and email — and to keep it up to date.
• You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. Tell us right away at contact@tastesapp.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

4. Your content

Tastes lets you post ratings, reviews, photos, and other content. You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant Tastes a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and share your content within the Service so the app can work as intended (for example, showing your ratings to friends and in the feed).

You're responsible for what you post. Don't post content that is unlawful, misleading, hateful, harassing, or that infringes anyone else's rights.

5. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.
• Post honest ratings and reviews based on your genuine experience.
• Don't impersonate others, spam, scrape data, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Don't upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems.

We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

All Tastes content, branding, designs, and software (excluding content posted by users) are owned by TASTES APP LIMITED or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without our written permission.

7. Third-party content and places

Tastes shows information about restaurants, bars, and other venues, some of which comes from users or third parties. We don't own or operate these venues and aren't responsible for their offerings, pricing, availability, or your experience there. Ratings and reviews reflect users' opinions, not ours.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tastes disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending your relationship with Tastes

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive termination.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Tastes evolves — especially as we move from beta to full launch. When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
